HISTORY

Petite Arvine is thought to have originated in the Val d’Aoste, which it left towards the end of the Middle Ages to settle on the sunny slopes of the Valais. Today, it can only be found in this canton, where it has become one of the symbols of the wine industry. Delicate to grow, it produces an elegant wine with a salty touch on the finish.

VINIFICATION

Slow, gentle pressing, a single low-temperature fermentation, and six months of ageing in vats ensure maximum fat and roundness while retaining the finesse and freshness of the aromas.

ROBE

Golden yellow.

NEZ

Floral and fruity notes characterise the racy bouquet with aromas of citrus, rhubarb and a hint of pineapple.

FLOAT

The complex structure brings out pink grapefruit and rhubarb aromas with a hint of warm pineapple. This lively, fresh wine is well-balanced with good acidity, length, and a lovely saline finish.

GASTRONOMIC Pairings

A perfect accompaniment to a seafood platter, sweetbreads or cheese dishes, Petite Arvine, goes well with warm foie gras. We are not forgetting the aperitif, where it expresses all its potential.
