Renaissance Merlot

Merlot, the world-famous red grape variety, is thought to have arrived in Valais from the vineyards of Bordeaux. Here, it has found a warm, dry climate ideal for the development of its aromas and powerful structure.

Traditional vinification in vats and also in wooden casks

Bordeaux red colour.
Nose with aromas of ivy and leather, supported by notes of black fruit.
Full-bodied and generous on the palate.
Serving temperature: 12-16°C.

A wine for laying down, accompanies all red meats, game and strong cheeses.
