HISTORY

The Valaisans gave the name malvoisie to the full-bodied wine they make from pinot gris.

VINIFICATION

Slow, gentle pressing, a single low-temperature fermentation and six months’ ageing in vats ensure maximum fullness and roundness while retaining finesse and freshness of flavour.

ROBE

Dark yellow, gold

NEZ

Quince jelly, honey, candied fruit

FLOAT

On the palate this wine is raw and vinous, underpinned by a delicate bitterness on the finish.

GASTRONOMIC MATCHING

Flététrie Malvoisie is the perfect accompaniment to foie gras, liver terrines and duck foie gras escalopes. For dessert it’s a delight with strawberries, raspberries, tarts and other fragrant sweets.
