Renaissance Johannisberg

Originating from the Rhine Valley in Germany, sylvaner is known as johannisberg in Valais. This name is due to the provenance of this grape variety, directly from the Schloss Johannisberg estate.
Wines made from this grape variety are known for their roundness and high ageing potential.

Traditional vinification in vats

Yellow colour with golden highlights.
Fruity nose with hints of almond and lilac.
A racy palate that combines power and balance, with a soft finish of white peach.
Serving temperature: 8-10°.

A slightly mellow wine that goes very well with a dish of Valais asparagus or a selection of mild, soft cheeses.
