Once found only in the vineyards of the Upper Valais, Heïda is now celebrated in French-speaking Valais. Heïda and Païen are the Valais names for Savagnin Blanc, the grape variety behind the famous vin jaune du Jura. It is a variety of the Traminer family.

Slow, gentle pressing, an initial low-temperature fermentation and several months’ ageing in vats during which malolactic fermentation takes place to guarantee maximum fullness and roundness while retaining the finesse and freshness of aromas.

Musky notes of lime and dried fruit.
Lime, dried fruit and plum aromas. It is a rich, virile wine with a lovely, dense, complex structure and discreet acidity.
Heïda accompanies fish, seafood, and mountain cheeses but also traditional Valais dishes such as raclette and Valais plates.
