In Valais, Savagnin blanc is known as heida or païen. It is also found in the French Jura, where it is used to make yellow wines. It also exists in Alsace under the name of traminer. In our country its presence is confirmed as early as the 16th century, but it seems to have been around long before that period.

Delicate straw yellow colour.
Citrus aromas on the nose with hints of lemon peel and blackcurrant.
The palate has an invigorating structure, dominated by a hint of lemon.
Serving temperature: 8-10°.

Pairs wonderfully with fish, oysters or white meat.
