In Valais, Chasselas has kept its old name of fendant. This is due to the fact that the ripe berry cracks under the pressure of the fingers.
Arriving in Valais in the 19th century, fendant is the canton’s main white grape variety.

Traditional vinification in vats

Pale yellow colour with hints of elderflower.
Nose with aromas of lime blossom and gunflint.
On the palate, mineral notes accompany a full, fresh finish.
Serving temperature: 7-9°C.

Aperitif wine par excellence, it also goes wonderfully with raclette or a good fondue.

Taille

37.5cl, 75cl
