History
Raised from low-yielding vines selected from the best slopes in central Valais, this blend is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cornalin, Merlot and Syrah.
Vinification
A meticulously controlled maceration for 25 days, followed by 15 months’ ageing in barrels of 3rd passage, 2nd passage as well as new barrels, the origins of which have been selected according to the specific characteristics of each grape variety.
Robe
Intense red with purplish-black highlights.
Nose
A broad bouquet characterised by notes of tobacco, fresh leather, black fruit, liquorice with hints of spice and roasting.
Flavour
There are aromas of black berries, subtle notes of spice and roasted oak, supported by firm tannins. Fresh and harmonious finish.
Gastronomic pairings
A marvellous accompaniment to grilled poultry, red meats and cheese platters.
