This Barbaresco is also produced by the famous Italian producer Gaja, and comes from the Costa Russi vineyard located in the commune of Barbaresco in the Piedmont region of Italy. Like the Sori Tildin, this wine is also produced from the Nebbiolo grape grown on mineral-rich clay-limestone soils.

The Barbaresco 2014 Costa Russi Gaja offers complex aromas of red and black fruits, violets, leather and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is intense and structured, with well-presented tannins but also a lovely acidity that gives it a long finish.
